Description
This is a Tubular Steel Coffee Table, originally designed by Michael McCarthy in the 1960s. McCarthy was a design partner at the renowned architectural firm Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill (SOM). This particular example was produced by Cassina in Italy circa the 1970s. The table is comprised of a tubular steel frame and a white marble tabletop.
The table measures 31.5 inches long and wide with a height of 17.5 inches. This piece shows expected wear from use on the frame and marble top, but overall is in very good to excellent condition. Please see photos.
