1980s Theodore Waddell for Cassina 714 Tensegrity Chromed Steel Dining Table Cheap

Description
Listed for sale is a gorgeous and original 714 dining table, produced by Cassina. This table was designed by Theodore Waddell and was created after being inspired by Buckminster Fuller s tensile and tensegrity structures. The base uses cables to act in a load bearing manner. It is a brilliant structure. This example came from a noteworthy Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania estate, which came along with a number of other phenomenal design works. The 714 table was designed in 1973, though this example was produced in the 1980s. The glass table top shows some wear from use and has a small chip as well. We can provide a brand new top at no additional cost, either this size (approximately 42 inches) or the currently offered 54 inch size. As it is a generic tempered glass top, we can also accommodate other sizes if you wish. The base measures 27.5 inches tall by 33 inches wide and 33 inches deep.
